Thallus pale greyish white, thick, smooth, dull. Ascomata inconspicuous, numerous, sometimes crowded, initially immersed, becoming subimmersed to sessile, with a conspicuous raised thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, rarely branched, 1–4 mm long, 0.2–0.5 mm wide; lips initially closed, opening to expose the white-pruinose epihymenium. Proper exciple lacking. Hymenium 125–175 µm thick, I+ pale blue. Ascospores 1 per ascus, densely muriform, c. 30 × 6-locular, (70–) 78–105 × 20–35 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |

Corticolous in northern N.T. and north-eastern Qld; pantropical. | ||
